Terms of use.

By downloading, installing, or using AIWise (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and AIWise Global Limited, a company registered in Ireland (“AIWise”, “we”, “us”).

AIWise is a personal AI usage tracking and declaration application designed for students and researchers. The App enables you to log AI tool usage, reconcile institutional policies, and generate declaration documents for your own use.

• You must be at least 13 years of age to use AIWise.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate and current information when creating an account.
• One account per person. You may not share your account with others.

AIWise is a subscription-only service. There is no permanent free tier. Access is available via a 14-day free trial, after which a paid subscription is required. Subscriptions are managed and billed through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Microsoft Store depending on your platform.

• Free trial: A 14-day free trial is available to new subscribers. You must provide valid payment details to begin the trial. You will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.
• Billing cycle: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time through your App Store, Google Play, or Microsoft Store account settings. Cancellation mid-period does not result in a refund — access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds: We do not issue partial refunds for unused subscription periods. Refund requests must be directed to the relevant platform store in accordance with their policies.

Apple App Store. If you downloaded AIWise from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that:

• These Terms are between you and AIWise Global Limited only, not Apple Inc.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
• In the event of any failure of the App to conform to applicable warranties, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). Apple has no other warranty obligation.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or third parties relating to the App.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Google Play. If you downloaded AIWise from Google Play, your use is also subject to Google’s Terms of Service and the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement.

Microsoft Store. If you downloaded AIWise from the Microsoft Store, your use is also subject to the Microsoft Store Terms of Service. These Terms govern the relationship between you and AIWise Global Limited. Microsoft is not a party to these Terms and has no support or warranty obligations in respect of the App.

You retain full ownership of all content you create in the App, including usage logs, uploaded policy documents, and generated declarations. AIWise Global Limited does not claim any rights over your content.

By using the App, you acknowledge that your content is stored locally on your device (or in your personal encrypted cloud backup if enabled) and that AIWise does not have access to or control over that content. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.

You agree not to use AIWise to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Generate false or misleading declarations about your AI usage.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers connected to the App.
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App or its related systems.

AIWise and all associated trademarks, logos, software, design, and content are the property of AIWise Global Limited and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

AIWise is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AIWise Global Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, academic penalties, or institutional decisions made on the basis of declarations generated by the App.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time via Settings › Delete account. On-device data remains under your control.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under applicable local law.
