AIWise is a dedicated AI usage tracking and declaration tool. It lets you upload your institution’s AI policy, log your AI usage as you work, reconcile that usage against your policy in real time, and export a tamper-evident declaration PDF or JSON that you can submit alongside your work — entirely on your own terms.

No. AIWise does not monitor background network activity, scan your clipboard, access your files, or observe other applications unless you explicitly initiate a feature that requires it (such as the desktop overlay). It records only what you log manually.

Most universities publish their AI use policy on their website, in the student handbook, or in course syllabi. You can upload any PDF or DOCX document directly into AIWise. We also provide a built-in library of baseline policy templates to get you started if your institution hasn’t published a formal policy yet.

Never. AIWise has no automatic integration with any university system, LMS, or institution. You generate your declaration, and you decide when and how to share it. That is a design principle, not a feature toggle.

No. AIWise is for any student who wants to declare their AI use honestly — regardless of whether their institution has heard of AIWise. The app works with any institutional policy you can upload, or with our built-in templates. Institutional adoption is not required.

By default, all your AI usage logs, policy documents, and declaration reports are stored locally on your device only. Optional encrypted cloud backup is available — entirely opt-in, user-controlled, and AES-256 encrypted. We do not have access to your backup content.

Only if you choose to share them. AIWise never transmits your logs or declarations to any institution, employer, or third party. You hold the data. You decide who sees it.

No. We do not use your usage logs, declaration content, policy documents, or any in-app content to train AI models — ours or anyone else’s.

We collect only your email address, display name, and subscription status to manage your account. Billing is handled entirely by Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Microsoft Store — we never store payment card details. We also collect anonymous aggregate analytics to improve the product; you can opt out in Settings. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Yes. AIWise Global Limited is registered in Ireland and operates fully within the EU. We are subject to GDPR and take data minimisation, purpose limitation, and user rights seriously. Contact privacy@aiwise.me to exercise your rights at any time.

Pricing is set by and displayed in the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Microsoft Store at the time of purchase in your local currency. A 14-day free trial is available for new subscribers — you won’t be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.

AIWise is a subscription service with no permanent free tier. All new subscribers get a 14-day free trial. You need to provide valid payment details to start, and you won’t be charged if you cancel before day 14.

Yes. Cancel at any time through your App Store, Google Play, or Microsoft Store account settings. Your access continues until the end of your paid period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of the 14-day trial. Cancel before day 14 and you won’t be charged anything. Cancel after renewal and access continues until the end of that paid period.

AIWise is available on iOS (App Store), Android (Google Play), and as a Progressive Web App accessible from any browser. A native desktop app for macOS and Windows with a floating overlay widget is coming soon.

Yes. Core logging, policy reconciliation, and declaration export all work fully offline. The conversational AI assistant requires an internet connection when active.

Any AI tool — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity, Midjourney, Grammarly, or any other. AIWise is tool-agnostic. You manually record what you used, how, and for what purpose, then let the app reconcile it against your policy.
